Hello, my name is Amanda, and I am a student at The University of South Florida in Tampa. My class is making a documentary about how the war has changed different groups of people involved.
I'm looking for a woman who has been in the military, and is experiencing trouble with finding a significant other. Military women hold a lot of power, and finding a partner that is accepting of that is difficult. I want a woman who has faced this obstacle, and is continuing to have trouble with dating. Preferably, I would like to interview a woman who has been oversees, and has come back to America. If she has also experienced a culture shock, then that would help. By culture shock, I mean more of the social aspect of it. There are constant social changes, and when someone comes back to America it can be a bit overwhelming for them. I want to know how the military woman has adapted to the changes of society, and how has her role in the military affected her gender role in relationships.
